KNOWN ALIAS: Bat, Major (most common nickname)
AGE: Adult (approximately 5 or 6 years old)
BREED: Hellion/Mortal hybrid
PACK: Suneye
RANK: N/A
SECTION II____________
Psychological Evaluation and Background
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
* Militant | Authoritative | Aggressive
As her name implies, Battalian is a powerful, aggressive, and terribly controlling individual. Though not terribly loud or bold about it, preferring to take the more discrete route to power, she is always the first to rise up when a leader is needed, always quick to offer her experience to guide the less experienced, and always willing to fight the dirtiest battles. She fears nothing, submits to almost no one, and is a generally headstrong, strong-willed, spirited individual, unafraid of a good fight and more than willing to do anything that is necessary to get a job done. Responsible, diligent, watchful and assertive. She makes an incredible, thorough, intimidating leader.
* Commanding | Controlling | Dominating
As mentioned above, Battalian is assertive, aggressive and very forward in her desires. Though she does not desire power, and therefore is not considered challenging or rebellious by her peers, anything else she desires will be sought with an iron fist. She does not tolerate set-backs, especially when they are caused by others, and can be rather violent when undermined, contradicted, or otherwise kept from her desires. Battalian is a focused, powerful, headstrong individual. She does not take no for an answer and does not accept failure. When in control, she is a fierce leader, striving for perfection and constantly pushing her charges to and beyond their limits. Generally, this makes her unlikeable, but her lessons in strength and resolve are invaluable. Soldiers may not like her, but leaders and higher-ups do. She trains the best soldiers.
* Analytical | Strategist | Cunning
Battalian is not only physically powerful, but also mentally. Though not terribly intellectual, she is certainly smart enough to form military strategies and figure out enemy formations. She treats the battlefield the way a football coach treats a game- placing her men in carefully chosen positions, each with their own role to play in the greater scheme of things. She is incredibly adaptable and, strangely, is notorious for including herself in her battle strategies. Most military leaders prefer to stay safe on the sidelines, but Battalian insists on leading the charge, and always fights right along side her soldiers. This allows her to protect and defend them (as, contrary to her behavior, her fellow warriors are extremely important to her- almost like a mother and her cubs, she tries to do everything she can to bring them home alive at the end of the day and is genuinely hurt when she loses one), as well as allowing her to adjust plans and strategies on the fly should an enemy prove to be difficult. A very thorough leader, and the most powerful warrior one can have at their side. She could probably give a full blooded hellion a run for their money.
* Anti-social | Amiable | Quiet
Though she is the most prominent figure on the battlefield, when not at war or in her warrior state of mind, Battalian is almost invisible. When there is no one to fight and no one to protect, she is generally quiet, sitting in the background and letting everyone have their way and do what they want to enjoy themselves. She maintains her watchful, authoritative habits, sometimes criticizing or making sometimes snarky observations. But, otherwise, she remains almost part of the background, speaking only when spoken to and moving only when it is necessary, preferring to stay in one place and maintain a silent guard. She's not terribly social and is painfully serious so, when nothing needs to be killed or trained, Battalian is generally no one to approach.
KNOWN HISTORY:
* Born second in a litter of two. Mother was a normal lion, father was a hellion.
* Father was terribly strict, brutal, and extremely critical. He was extremely hard on both of his children. Mother tried to mellow him out but that only made her the target of his abuse, so she eventually took a backseat and just let him do as he pleased.
* Radar, Battalian's brother, was angry about this (as he was the focus of his father's rather negative attention) and grew into a rebellious individual, deliberately doing things just to piss his father off.
* Battalian, on the other hand, was generally ignored because she was female and therefore "useless", "soft" and "weak" in her father's mind. It was this treatment that made her into the strong-willed, power driven, androgynous figure she is today. All she wanted was to make her father proud and pay attention to her.
* Lore was honestly very fond of his children. He admitted this upon his death, when another hellion tried to take his mate and kill his cubs, he fought to protect them. As he bled to death, he apologized to them all for his misbehavior and explained that her was so hard on them to make them strong, to ensure that they would grow and live to be the greatest lions to ever live.
* Radar did not accept his father's apology and remains resentful towards his now deceased father. Battalian claims to be indifferent, but seems to have been extremely calmed by her father's sudden approval of her.
* The rest of the lion family has continued to live together, with only some conflicts remaining, usually caused by Radar's misbehavior.
